My Antarctica and Emperor Penguin photography exhibition is finally open! Yay! Although we had the exhibit ready since the middle of June, construction closed the museum for 2 months .
It is now open 3 days per week: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 9am-4pm for in-person visits at Gallery 4 at HD SOUTH – Home of the Gilbert Historical Museum curated by Art Intersection!
My photography and written descriptions share what it’s like to cross the Southern Ocean, go through the Weddell Sea, helicopter over and land on sea ice and then trek across ice for 1.5 miles to the Emperor Penguin Colony!

The exhibition will run through October 10, 2020! The museum address is 10 S. Gilbert Rd, Gilbert, AZ 85296.
Images are also available for purchase–please contact Alan at info@artinstersection.com to order prints to be shipped to your door!
For those out of state or those who aren’t able to make it those days, feel free to watch the virtual presentation: https://youtu.be/gjH1wqnGMOk. The in-person exhibition has more images and stories but the virtual presentation will give you a nice flavor of the experience.
Feel free to share this so others can enjoy the penguins and this amazing journey!
Thanks so much for your support!
