Antarctica and Emperor Penguin Art Gallery Exhibition – Virtual Event July 19!

Gallery 4 at HD South Gilbert Historical Museum, Gilbert, AZ

I’m very excited and honored to have my photography featured in its first solo exhibit this summer! I have spent the past several months working with Art Intersection‘s Gallery owner Alan Fitzgerald , to chose images to be featured in Gallery 4 at HD SOUTH – Home of the Gilbert Historical Museum. I sorted through 30,000+ images to narrow it down to 60 images that tell the story of my journey to Antarctica and Snow Hill Island in 2018 to visit the Emperor Penguin Colony.

We were supposed to have an in-person presentation for the opening but given the current COVID-19 pandemic, we are putting on a virtual event instead so people all over the world can see it! I’ll talk, show images and share stories of the 60 images hanging in the art gallery.

The virtual event will be held Sunday, July 19 at 1pm PST.  If you are interested in attending, please visit the Eventbrite link below:

After you register on Eventbrite, you will get a confirmation email that directs you to the Online Event Page to register for the actual zoom webinar.  Feel free to share this with anyone who might be interested in hearing and seeing what it was like on the journey down there through horrible storms in a Russian icebreaker and then helicoptering over sea ice to land close to the colony and trek 1.5 miles to see the Emperor Penguins.
